SAKURA: the Inspiration behind HARAJUKU SAKURA and FUJIYAMA Collections!

What images pop into your mind when you first think of Japan and its unique traditional culture and natural scenery? Mt. Fuji? sakura? pagoda? The iconic image of cherry blossoms a.k.a. sakura, in full bloom, over a backdrop of traditional five-storied pagodas, and Mt. Fuji, in the far distance, is an iconic image, quintessential of true Japanese style. Our HARAJUKU Collection’s FUJIYAMA and SAKURA sneaker range has been directly inspired from this very classic image of Japan. The collection has been launched in collaboration with renowned doll fashion designer Danny Chan.

HARAJUKU SAKURA

The HARAJUKU SAKURA range is a canvas designed sneaker available in white for men and both white and black for women. It features a unique and detailed print of the sakura in its natural soft pink color. The intricate details of the flower petals and the various soft pink tones of the sakura have been delicately applied. Styled to perfection, through the immense focus on the finer details, the evidence is seen in the exceptional quality of the finished product.
